Puzzle
Puzzle mode computes a layout from the artwork's solid boundary, generates every piece from its own boundary, and assembles the pieces into one downloadable 3MF. It is more than decorative lines over the image.
Style and sizing
- Regular Puzzle: an orderly grid with consistent connector behaviour.
- Irregular Puzzle: displaced boundaries with Irregularity Strength and Minimum Neck Width controls.
- By Piece Size: average width and height from 5–200 mm.
- By Grid: 1–200 rows and 1–200 columns.
- By Piece Count: 2–2000 target pieces, with the grid solved from the artwork aspect ratio.
Targets are not guaranteed geometry. Transparency, an irregular silhouette, and minimum-feature constraints can change the resolved rows, columns, piece count, or average size. The summary therefore shows both requested and resolved values.
Connectors and labels
Classic and Easy Cut use different connector profiles. Actual fit still depends on nozzle size, shrinkage, and slicer compensation.
Show Piece Labels provides numbering information for the puzzle workflow. Engrave Back Labels is currently disabled because the labels are not embedded in exported geometry yet.
Irregularity Strength ranges from 0–1. Minimum Neck Width ranges from 0.2–20 mm and prevents overly thin connector areas. Geometry adjustments appear in the Warnings section.
Puzzle is unavailable in Batch mode and disables Large Format, Keychain Loop, and Fridge Magnet mode. Generate a normal preview first because the layout needs the current solid mask and physical dimensions.
